The location was perfect, just a short walk from popular attractions like York Minster and Bettys Cafe Tea Rooms. the cozy apartment was beautifully decorated and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The attention to detail was impressive, from the fresh flowers on the dining table to the well-equipped kitchen and modern shower. the owners were incredibly helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. the views of the castle walls and Minster from the apartment were simply stunning. As someone who appreciates a good mix of convenience and charm, Oxtoby's Downstairs exceeded all expectations. It was quiet and peaceful, yet still close to the bustling city center. the overall experience was delightful and I can't wait to return for another stay. I highly recommend this cozy retreat to anyone looking for a memorable stay in York.
